CSHRM Quarterly Virtual Meeting

Happy New Year!  As we bid farewell to 2020, I am hopeful there is a light at the end of the very long tunnel we have all traveled through.  As risk professionals, 2020 certainly presented each of us with so many unknown and unexpected events which challenged us to find our new normal.  I am optimistic we will return back to life as we knew it soon.

I am thankful for the opportunity to serve the CSHRM organization as President. My thanks to Allison Funicelli- outgoing President; Carol Doty for stepping in to fill the important role of President-Elect,  as well as the entire Board of Directors: Alice Vautour-Treasurer, Pam Fiore-Secretary, and Karen Bell-Director, for their support and time in helping to fulfill the mission of our organization.  In addition, I would like to also thank our outgoing Directors,  Erika Amarante, Basia Kula & Patricia Bligh for their contributions to the Board.

Please join me in welcoming our new board members  Kevin Budge, Jenna Faticone and Sarah Lerner who will begin their new terms as directors.  Welcome back to returning CSHRM members and Hello to new members!

As we navigate the waters in 2021, I anticipate our quarterly meetings with continue to be held virtually.  As in years past we will provide our members CEU/CLE’s as part of our educational programming.   I encourage you all to reach out and make suggestions on how CSHRM can help to fulfill your expectations for programming.

As you all know we had to postpone the 2020 New England Conference “Optimistic in Mystic-Pearls of Risk Management Wisdom” and have rescheduled this event to May 3-4, 2021.  This event will be virtual and we will provide additional information as we continue to plan for “hosting” the event along with the other New England chapters.

I look forward to working with you all to engage our membership in creative ways in the virtual world.

Sincerely,

Cara
