Welcome Fall and Upcoming Chapter Meeting – October 14, 2026

Dear Chapter Members,

I hope everyone had a wonderful summer and had the opportunity to enjoy time with family and friends. As we transition into the fall season, I would like to welcome everyone back and share details about our upcoming chapter meeting.

Our next chapter meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. We are pleased to offer an educational webinar on the topic of “How Clinical Documentation Impacts Risk Management”.  Presented by Linda Habibi, JD, MBA, CPPS, CPHRM, FASHRM.  We hope you will join us for what promises to be an informative and engaging session.

Immediately following the webinar, we will hold a brief Board Meeting to discuss several chapter initiatives, including:

• Membership growth and engagement strategies
• Exploring a discounted membership opportunity
• Launching a chapter LinkedIn presence to enhance networking and communication
• Review of the Treasurer’s Report
• Open discussion of additional chapter business and member ideas

As we continue to strengthen our chapter, we are also seeking members who may be interested in becoming more involved.

For those attending the ASHRM Conference, I hope to see many familiar faces there. Be sure to stop by and visit us at the NNESHRM shared booth (#529) in the Exhibit Hall. It will be a great opportunity to connect with colleagues from across the region and learn more about the activities of our chapter and partner organizations.

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Happy New Year! I hope this message finds you well and that the start of 2026 has brought renewed energy, purpose, and optimism.

As we begin a new year together, I want to extend my sincere appreciation for your continued commitment and engagement. Your dedication is the foundation of our organization’s success, and it is because of your contributions that we continue to grow, advance, and strengthen our shared mission.  Looking ahead, we are excited for the opportunities this year will bring.  In the coming months, we will be focusing on key initiatives designed to enhance member engagement, expand educational offerings and foster stronger collaboration across our community.  We are planning some educational activities to support professional growth and ensure our members feel connected.

Thank you again for being an essential part of this organization.  I look forward to all that we will achieve together in the year ahead.
